Q4.I have not come out of the closet (meaning not revealing sexuality to others). Can I still join GLOW?
A.We manage privacy of each member carefully. We will never force someone who has not come out to join our activities, and being closeted doesn’t matter to be in this circle. Actually, many members of our circle have not come out and have not revealed sexualities to others. As a circle, we have regulations on privacy in order to prevent members from being disclosed that they are sexual minorities without their consent. It is very rare someone being exposed that the person is a sexual minority by joining our circle activities. We are trying to protect privacy of members as much as we can. For this reason, publicity works of the circle are done by only volunteers and get-togethers are held at private rooms.
Q5.I missed the welcome events for new members and they are already over. Can I join the circle now?
A.New members are welcomed all year round. Before you officially become a member, we would like you to know about our circle and see what it’s like, and then you can join the circle when you want to.
